Face It--Your Donors and Volunteers Are Aging

Have you checked the average age of your donors and volunteers lately? It's a good bet that they are way over 40, 50, and even 60. The general population is aging rapidly as the massive baby boomer generation approaches retirement age. Plus, donors and volunteers have always skewed to the older ranks.

Are your print materials and website appropriate for older eyes? If not, you may be leaving folks behind and certainly leaving money on the table.

Fortunately older people are avid readers. They are prime targets for your messages, so learn the basics of how to design materials that will keep them on your donor and volunteer rosters:
