Acronym Finder to the Rescue

Friday July 28, 2006
The nonprofit world is almost as prone to acronyms as the government. Now there is help for the "acronym overwhelmed."

AcronymFinder.com is adding some 250 terms a day to its searchable database which at this point contains a half-million definitions.

The website allows you to search by acronym or abbreviation, or by keywords. You can also sort and filter the results using several major categories. There is even a blog if you really want to keep up with the acronym world.

Add this useful site to your list of research aids so you can zip through those pesky acronyms with ease.
