Mobile Giving is the newest "hot" topic in fundraising.
Alicia Keys recently raised $40,000 from her texting concert fans for addressing AIDS in Africa. The Children's National Medical Center teamed up with major league baseball to raise money, through mobile texting, for a Diabetes Care Complex. And two nonprofits, Stand up to Cancer and Make A Wish Foundation, are working on a similar baseball-themed campaign.
