Under New Year Resolutions:
The consultants at Beaconfire resolve to Know Yourself and Your Audience. Discover all the ways you can carry that mantra throughout your work.
Karen Zapp proves her copywriting creds with a fanciful riff on an old song while making her New Year resolutions in "Auld Lang Syne" Guides Nonprofits in 2011. Great fun!
Gayle Thorsen of ImpactMax presents 12 New Year's resolutions for nonprofit communicators. This is a very ambitious list that any communicator could adopt as their own.
Fundraiser Jonathan Grapsas digs deep for resolutions in Fundraising Resolutions: Version 2011
We always expect a different twist from Jake Seliger of Grant Writing Confidential, and he didn't fail us. He explains why he doesn't need resolutions and segues into some prognosticating in Not having New Year's Resolutions and Some Predictions for Nonprofits 2011.
Pam McAllister generously dreamed up 7 New Year Wishes for My Friends in Nonprofits. May we all enjoy these benefits in the new year.

From the world of philanthropy, ace futurist Lucy Bernholz of Philanthropy 2173 delivered a decade's worth of predictions in Ten for the next 10: 2010 - 2020. Lucy delves into the factors/forces shaping philanthropy during the second decade of the 21st century.
Not to be outdone, Sean Stannard-Stockton of Tactical Philanthropy leaps out to 2033 in Philanthropy Predictions: Giving in 2033. Learn about social stock exchanges.
Looking Back
Allison Jones looked back to tell us about Six events that got us talking about nonprofits in 2010. Nonprofit is definitely top of the mind and the news...for better or worse. Jones highlights the big news events of 2010 and how they brought attention to nonprofit causes, advances, and needs.
