What are the symptoms of social media overload?
Well, for me, they resemble those I get when shopping in big box stores. I get dizzy, indecisive, and experience cart abandonment. All of that is followed by running out of the store, finding the nearest Starbucks, and sucking down an iced latte.
Of course, I'm very susceptible to visual overstimulation and car sickness on any road with more than one curve. So once I was on more than one social media network, I knew I had to find tools to help me focus, manage, and control the whirl.

That’s interesting. I get dizzy in big box stores and my mother was the same. A correspondent told me a friend was so bad they’d sometimes pull the shopping cart over on themselves and be injured.
I think it’s a common affliction. I’m surprised the big box stores haven’t researched it and modified their architecture – or possibly the buzzing flourescents, sound architecture, placement, etc.
