I spent part of the weekend reading Marc Pitman's new book Google+ for Nonprofits and spiffing up my Google+ profile.

If you have put off getting yourself and your nonprofit on Google+, or have let your presence languish, then you really need to read Marc's book.

Google+ is actually looking very good these days. More people are showing up, there are smart conversations going on, and it just might be the best way to improve your visibility online.

After reading Marc's book, I'm more convinced than ever that Google+ is a must have for nonprofits. Why?

Google+ seemed to be quite relevant from SEO perspective, but didn’t Google already change the algorithm again, that G+ is less important? I thought I’ce heard something like this… On the other hand it doesn’t hurt to have a page on G+.
