Twenty-five charities are ready to receive votes in the Chase 2012 American Giving Awards.
Fans and friends can vote for their favorite charity on Facebook from November 27 to December 4. Chase online customers can also vote on the Chase website. The five top vote-getters will receive grants ranging from $125,000 to $1 million.
Charities competed for places in one of five categories: Educators & Mentors, Heroes & Leaders, Champions of Health & Wellness, Community Builders, and Youth Builders.
The 25 top charities range from Active Minds in Washington DC, to Half the Sky Foundation in Berkeley, California, to Art Feeds in Joplin, Missouri. Check them out...they're indicative of the quality that made its way to the top in this competition.
The winners will be celebrated with a star-studded event hosted by Joel McHale (NBC's "Community" and "The Soup") on NBC December 8 (Saturday 8/7c).
