Since researching email subject lines and passing along some tips on how to make them more effective, I've been on the watch for more good ones. Of course, not every subject line is going to win an award. Sometimes they are utilitarian and simply signal what is in the email that might be of interest to the reader.
At times, though, an email subject line can almost require the reader to click the open command. Here are some that struck me as especially effective. These subject lines entice you to click on for more information....much as a good mystery novel keeps you turning the pages. My own reaction to each one is in italics.

Trying to create an enticing subject line can become addictive, causing you to prowl your email for good ones while trying to figure out what makes them tick. That's ok. Experts seem to agree that good email subject lines are well worth the effort.
